Inspired by David Chipperfield’s minimalism and colonnades, the proposal draws three axes from the qibla, the residential grid and the adjacent highway to form a triangular courtyard.
The design reinterprets the dome and minaret as a double-height element for light, airflow and views toward the imam, alongside prayer halls at different levels and an underground library.
